The training takes place at the Zurich site in cooperation with the profession. Our course offer includes practice and theory in 8 spa blocks.Add your practical experience to your own personal situation by freely selectable rides or hoof care care.
We teach at different courtyards in the Zurich area. So you can get to know different attitudes.
To start the most important key data combined!
The training is divided into 8 course blocks.You need 360 practical hours:
- 150 practical hours include the course part
- 120 hours you can carry out your own work
- You can reach 90 more practical hours by driving in your own way, practical offers from our school manager or by free course visits at other locations
You need proof of 120 horses:
- approx. 60-80 Detections are available automatically in the course
- the remaining proofs can be obtained via independent practical activity or driving with a hoof caresmith or a hoof care guard FBA
- You can choose between paper-formed or digital entries in the Huf app and combine them
The training includes a technical work, an interim and a final examination.

From practice
Horses in self-reality? How's that going?
You can do 120 practical hours in your own way. Self-regiance means that you don't work these horses in the course and not on board days. The LTZ provides you with a modern tool: The LTZ-Huf-App!These 120 hours of self-responsibility can be provided as follows:
- Horses of acquaintances, own horses or even first commercial customer horses
- Editing must document! We will provide you with the LTZ boot app. Die documentation must include at least 3 hooves before/after per horse
- 3 hours of practice can be counted per horse, i.e. a maximum of 40 horses are possible in self-reality
- since the processing of these horses does not take place under the supervision of a lecturer, it is possible for the processing to be carried out in self-regie. own insurance required
If you don't want to use the app, you can also upload pictures or short films on our home page for the horses.
Your 24/7-dozent: LTZ-Huf-App
With our Huf app we can help you with practical learning and later on with the customer. The app analyzes hooves for you and gives you editing tips. It is an offer you can try and use once!
If the app doesn't tell you, you can also complete your training in paper form using our proven processing sheets!

Toe axis theory, fetter axis theory, crown edge theory, sole-beam plane theory, footing theory, fetter stand theory, pendulum theory, functional sole, zero level, white line optimization, stabilizing and motion-destroying levers, bow ties, toe rocker, mustangroll, heel bevel, abrasion control, etc.

You can't go on a day or block?
No problem! You can retrieve theory at any time through our teaching videos, the learning platform and the course of accompanying online lessons. You can retrieve missed practice through course visits at many of our other locations, via more rides or by practice in your own way (max. 120 hours). Use our online lessons practice on your own horse!
The daily course hours are from 9:30 a.m. to about 17 a.m.
