The first customer can offer adhesive fitting
If you do a training as a hoof caregiver at the LTZ, you can also receive the certificate for the Goodsmith adhesive fitting in your exam block. This offer is voluntary, you can, but you don't have to perceive it. Make this decision during your training.
The Goodsmith is a high performance TPU plastic. It consists of a base plate which can be adapted to different hoof situations. It continues to allow the natural hoof movement, gives grip on different soils and acts shock-absorbing. It is attached to the horn wall via adhesive technology.
How do you acquire the certificate?
At the exam block you have the ability to acquire the Goodsmith certificate. We will provide you with original training documents from Goodsmith. You get the certificate in five steps:
Step 1: Check the training documents on our Academy page
Step 2: Conduct a small knowledge test on our academy page
Step 3: Order the workshop set directly at Goodsmith for the LTZ preferential price (approx. 50 Euro, instead of regular 180 Euro)*
Step 4: Bring the workshop set to the exam block, there we will show you how to apply the GS.
Step 5: Download the GS certificate from our Academy Page
