Why a sponsorship?

The situation of the mutangs in America is not easy. For several years, Silke and Michael have been trying to help with the Mustang Makeover. You write on your homepage:

Since 2017, we have been trying to make more people aware of the MUSTANG MAKEOVER that the Mustangs do not live as beautifully wild and free as it is often shown, but that life in the wild can be hard and that the Mustangs are captured to their own protection in order to be supplied with food and water in collecting stations.

Feed and water are very close to the wild, due to overpopulation and ever warmer summers. Currently, 88,000 Mustangs and Wildesel live freely in America, but according to calculations, the areas are only sufficient to approx. 27000 equidae sustainably healthy.

The MUSTANG MAKEOVER does not only want to show what wonderful animals are in the wild, but also wants to find new perspectives for as many Mustangs as possible.
